The Bubble Nebula, November 29 2019

The Bubble Nebula, or NGC7635 is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia.

More information about this object can be found on its Wikipedia page.

This was a really difficult target for me, and if I'm completely honest the final image isn't one that I'm very happy with. Even with the 10 minute exposure time on each frame, the object is still very faint and it took a lot of stretching of the image in post processing to be able to see very much at all. The main problem I found was that in stretching the nebula I ended up with bloated and misshapen stars.
