This small camera is ideal as a guide camera, but is also quite capable for lunar or planetary imaging. It is fitted with the APTIMA CMOS Sensor MT9M034 which has a small sensor and small pixels, giving it good resolution for guiding at short focal lengths as well as for capturing detail on the moon or other Solar System bodies at longer focal lengths.

Recently I have stopped using this camera due to some issues with connectivity to my mini computer that is attached to the scope. The camera was discontinued by the manufacturer last year, and I suspect that driver updates have been made that have impacted on its compatibility.

I will probably make some attempts to investigate during the summer in preparation for the next imaging season, but it could be that this camera has become redundant.
