CPWI is a control system developed by Celestron and PlaneWave Instruments for computer control of Celestron telescope mounts. This application is more than just a driver for the telescope though. It includes a planetarium function, and is also able to control the automatic alignment process that is one of the features of Celestron's StarSense system.
